TZ80 zirconia beads

Performance of zirconium powder: The molecular weight of zirconia is 123.22, the theoretical density is 5.89g/cm3, and the melting point is 2715 ℃. It usually contains a small amount of hafnium oxide, which is difficult to separate, but has no significant effect on the performance of zirconia. Zirconia has three crystal forms: monoclinic, tetragonal, and cubic. At room temperature, zirconia only appears as a monoclinic phase. When heated to around 1100 ℃, it transforms into a tetragonal phase, and when heated to higher temperatures, it transforms into a cubic phase. Due to the significant volume change during the transition from monoclinic to tetragonal phase, and the significant volume change in the opposite direction during cooling, it is easy to cause product cracking, which limits the application of pure zirconia in high-temperature fields. However, after adding stabilizers, the tetragonal phase can be stabilized at room temperature, so there will be no sudden change in volume after heating, greatly expanding the application range of zirconia. Due to its excellent physical and chemical properties such as high hardness, strength, toughness, high wear resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance, zirconia has been widely used in various fields such as ceramics, refractory materials, machinery, electronics, optics, aerospace, biology, chemical textiles, etc.

Service life of TZ80 zirconia beads: Zirconia beads have extremely high strength and toughness, even comparable to alloy steel. Due to its high zirconium content, low wear, consistent appearance inside and outside, round and smooth sphericity, it has minimal impact on equipment wear and internal friction of zirconium beads. Based on the above conditions, it is not difficult to see that zirconium beads are constrained by the properties of zirconium powder during use. As the service life and temperature of zirconium beads increase, the monoclinic phase of zirconium powder will also continue to improve, and the spherical shape of zirconium beads will gradually become loose. Through continuous repeated experiments and timely feedback from customers, the spherical shape of zirconium beads generally does not undergo any changes within 4800-5800 hours in the sand mill. The ball mill will not undergo any changes after wet grinding for 10000-12000 hours.
Instructions for using TZ80 zirconia beads: 1. How to use grinding media correctly: During the process of adding zirconium beads, the old zirconium beads in the inner cylinder of the grinder, including the dispersing disc, dynamic separator, and sieve, should be cleaned thoroughly. 1.2 Zirconium beads produced by different manufacturers cannot be mixed, as their density and strength may vary. Mixing together will intensify the wear and tear between the beads. 1.3 The temperature during grinding will cause changes in the crystal phase of zirconium beads. The temperature for dry grinding should not exceed 300 degrees, and the temperature for wet grinding should not exceed 200 degrees. When used at a controlled temperature, the crystal phase of zirconium beads will not change, and the wear resistance of the beads is stable. 1.4 Quantity filling ratio: Fill the actual quantity according to the volume of the grinding equipment cavity. The highest value of zirconium beads in the grinding chamber is 85%, and the lowest value is 70%. Then multiply it by the dispersed weight of the zirconium beads to obtain the required quantity. Maintenance and upkeep: After the zirconium beads are ground for the specified time, there are often small or half worn beads attached to the sieve, or the grinding efficiency decreases. At this time, the number of zirconium beads needs to be replaced or added. We usually send a sieve mesh that matches the particle size of the zirconium beads to the customer after one year.
